After a few days of vista, found several workarounds for problems
1. new devices no longer detectable...
Solution: I screwed up the whole system by forcing drivers in so... end up reformatting!
2. Software doesn't save changes.
Solution: Programs runs in User mode (UAC, User Account Control) thus unable to write to program folder/registry. The solution i took is risky though. I disable UAC! PoOF magic everything works
